Based on a random phone call I got from my aunt who wanted to know why it was impossible for Jesus to be born when we celebrate Christmas. Short answer: Unsurvivabley cold at night, and a Biblical-times manger can barely be considered any sort of shelter. We celebrate it now because it's around the Winter Solstice. Gotta convert those pagans somehow, peoples! Enjoy.
